Link Found Between Constipation and Kidney Disease

Researchers have discovered a link between constipation and renal failure; people with constipation had a 13% higher likelihood of developing chronic kidney disease and a 9% higher likelihood of developing kidney failure compared with those without constipation (J Am Soc Nephrol 2016 Nov 10.
