Bill to Ensure Comprehensive Medicare Home Infusion Benefit Likely to Move Forward

The Preserving Patient Access to Home Infusion Act, designed to clarify congressional intent for a comprehensive Medicare home infusion benefit in the 21st Century Cures Act, is likely to receive a score from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) within the next two weeks, said Shea McCarthy, the director of legislative affairs for the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) at NHIA24, in  Austin, Texas.
