Asthma/COPD Patients in PAPs Had Fewer Hospital Visits

Patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) enrolled in patient assistance programs (PAPs) were less likely to be hospitalized or visit the emergency department (ED) during a small study by pharmacists.
