The life expectancy of non-Hispanic Black men who have sex with men (MSM) and who acquire HIV is 6.3 years shorter than white MSM with HIV in the United States, new simulation modeling research found.
Early diagnostic testing, improving engagement in care, and adherence to antiretroviral therapy would help close the gap in this disparity, according to Katherine Rich, MPH, who presented the data at
