More than three-fourths of health care professionals (HCPs) understand the importance of receiving an annual influenza vaccine each year to protect their patients, themselves and their families. 

Yet, those working in long-term care settings have not gotten the message: Vaccination rates are lowest among health care workers caring for the most fragile patients.
