Two cases of Legionnaires’ disease reported in Pennsylvania were likely caused by transplantation of infected organs, according to a recent report.
Both patients received lung transplants from the same donor at a single Pennsylvania hospital (MMWR Morb Mortal Wkly Rep 2023;72[37]:1001-1004).
“The present findings suggest that clinicians caring for patients who receive organs from donors who
