LAS VEGAS—Pharmacy directors have implemented a variety of measures such as backfilling technician jobs with pharmacists or implementing sign-on bonuses and career ladders for pharmacy technicians, according to results of the 2022 ASHP National Survey of Hospital Pharmacy Practice.
Pharmacy directors at some 355 hospitals of varying sizes responded to the 2022 survey, the results of which were presented at the ASHP 2022 Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition.
