Looking Under the Hood of CVS/Aetna's Planned Health Care Destination Stores

Less than a month after the $69 billion deal for CVS Health to acquire insurer Aetna got the green light to move forward from U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon in late December, CVS CEO Larry Merlo told attendees at the JPMorgan Healthcare Conference that the company was already in the process of launching several new programs to “transform the consumer health care experience” with a “new front door to health care.”
