Specialty Spend Up 9.4%, Traditional Down 4%

Boston—Last year, total spending on medicines in the United States was $453 billion, with growth of only 1.4%. But the numbers for specialty were far more encouraging, an industry expert said at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy 2018 Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy annual meeting.
