A new software platform called Eitan Insights that receives data transmitted from infusion pumps is intended to help providers monitor patients’ home infusion experiences. Data from cloud-connected pumps could prevent hospital readmissions by, for example, detecting whether a patient stopped taking a medication too early or may need a line change due to trends in infusion pressure, according to Ben Noonan, MBA, the general manager of Eitan Medical North America.
