Telemedicine could buttress critical care pharmacy at all times, not only during a period of crisis, new research in the Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy indicates (2023;1-9. doi:10.1002/jac5.1849). The analysis of Atrium Health, in North Carolina, offers an example of how tele-critical care (TCC) pharmacists were effectively deployed during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, the authors concluded.
