During the peak COVID-19 pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, the costs of primary ingredients for parenteral nutrition (PN) increased at a rate that was three to four times higher than the average of the three previous years, due in large part to systemwide shortages, according to a new report (bit.ly/3Z89qLD) from the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA).
