Flu Shot Coverage Remains Low This Year

Although last year’s flu shot offered substantial benefit, preventing an estimated 5 million cases of influenza and 71,000 flu-related hospitalizations, this year coverage remains low, according to the CDC.

 As of early November, only about two out of five people in the United States reported getting this season’s influenza vaccine.
